August 25-27, the 6th stage of the Russian Rallycross Championship took place in Kazan at the Vysokaya Gora circuit. This is the penultimate competition in the 2023 season bracket. Therefore, the fight was especially beautiful and intense.
Simultaneously with the Russian Championship, the Cup and the Russian Rallycross Championship were traditionally held. The total number of participants was impressive: 69 pilots from different cities of the country gathered these days in Kazan. The most numerous was the National class — 21 athletes.
All races turned out to be incredibly spectacular, but, perhaps, the competition among young pilots of the D2-Junior class was the most acute in terms of the intensity of the struggle. This year there are a large number of newcomers in this class — guys who take part in the Russian Rallycross Championship for the first time, so each athlete wanted to show everything he can, reaching the limit of his abilities.
No less interesting, but more balanced and curious from the point of view of strategy, were the races in the class of adult pilots — National. Here, the outcome of the fight was influenced not only by the skill of the athlete and the preparation of the car, but also by the chosen tactics of running the race. The pilots changed the travel time on the joker, pursued and led.
It was clear that the season finale is very close, and the pilots are giving everything to the maximum in order to either maintain the results obtained or rise in the overall ranking.

Well, the most decisive races will take place in a week, on September 1-3 in Kazan, at the High Mountain circuit — the Final of the Championship, Championship and Cup of Russia in rallycross.
