The Japanese manufacturer showed another concept, the “live” premiere of which will take place at the Japan Mobility exhibition, which will open its doors at the next week.
At the Nissan stand there will be several show cars that are harbingers of the new future family of the brand, and also demonstrate the features of the corporate style and current developments of the company in the field of technology. Previously, the manufacturer showed the conceptual Hyper Urban SUV, the Hyper Adventure crossover, and the Hyper Tourer minivan. Now the company has declassified another show car in the SUV segment, its role is played by the Nissan Hyper Punk.
Nissan Hyper Punk Concept < p>The Hyper Punk concept has an even more unusual appearance than the previously shown show cars. The crossover is designed in origami style; its shape is almost entirely composed of corners and “folds.” The car was left with only round wheels (albeit with luminous equilateral triangles on 23-inch wheels), as well as a smooth roof with a strongly sloping windshield. The concept also received luminous thin stripes that form both the head optics and the original taillights.
< p>The Nissan Hyper Punk is comparable in size to the Juke: it is possible that the future production all-electric Juke will borrow a number of ideas from the presented show car. By the way, at one time the appearance of the Nissan Juke was considered unusual and caused a lot of controversy among fans of the brand.
The interior of the new concept of the Japanese brand is also very futuristic and even more clearly reflects the design concept in the origami style. In front of the driver there is a steering wheel with touch buttons instead of the usual steering wheel; the show car does not have physical buttons, washers and handles in the cabin. Nissan calls the Hyper Punk's interior a «mobile creative studio,» noting that the concept is aimed at content makers and artists.

The company said that the Nissan Hyper Punk is equipped with on-board cameras that record the car's surroundings, then artificial intelligence turns the frames into scenery either in the style of manga (Japanese comics) or into graphic patterns. These decorations are displayed on the displays located on the front panel. The AI also works in tandem with biosensors installed in the headrests: this allows the system to determine the driver’s mood and change the lighting with music if he is in a negative mood.

There is no information about the technical characteristics of this electric crossover (as well as other concepts of the Hyper series). What is known is that the Nissan Hyper Punk was equipped with a Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) system, which means it can be used to “recharge” energy at home or office (which allows you to save on charging).

Recall that Nissan manages to deal with future “green” models and does not forget about current cars. The other day it became known that during the restyling, the X-Trail received a design in accordance with the new corporate style, as well as a new infotainment system, but the reforms did not affect the technology.
