The “live” premiere of both concepts of the Japanese brand took place as part of the Japan Mobility exhibition, which started today.
Many Japanese manufacturers are now showcasing their latest advancements in automotive design and technology at the Japan Mobility Show, and Toyota is no exception. Last week, the brand published teasers of prototypes of its future new products: we are talking about a pair of “green” concepts – the FT-3e crossover and the FT-Se sports car. Now the Japanese manufacturer has declassified their appearance completely.
The Toyota FT-3e has received a sportier look compared to the previously presented concept of the “green” large crossover Land Cruiser Se. The new show car has a large sloping windshield, a glossy black hood and a black roof with a pattern; The running lights are made in the form of a thin line of vertical strokes running across the entire width of the front part. Above in the center you can see the luminous brand logo, and below on the sides are the main headlight units.

The FT-3e was also equipped with a black plastic body kit around the perimeter of the body, black central and rear roof pillars, retractable door handles, as well as inserts with displays on the sidewalls, which display information about the battery charge level and the temperature inside the SUV.

The stern of the conceptual crossover was equipped with a carved spoiler on the top of the tailgate, a sloping rear window, and also rear LED lights in the form of an intermittent strip that runs from one rear wing to the other. The reflectors are located just above the bottom of the rear bumper, next to the license plate area.
The company has so far shown the interior of the Toyota FT-3e only in virtual images. The crossover received a minimalist interior, a single-spoke steering wheel, around which there are three displays — one in the traditional place of the virtual instrument panel, two more on the sides. In the center of the dashboard there is a separate large horizontal tablet of the infotainment system.

The second concept, unveiled at the Japan Mobility Show, the Toyota FT-Se is a harbinger of a potential sports car developed by Gazoo Racing. As previously reported, the creators of the “hot” two-door used the experience that GR has accumulated in motorsport over the past few years. The only thing known about the “filling” is that it is completely electric.

The design of the show car does not have anything in common with the brand’s current sports cars – Supra and GR 86. The front part is decorated with “flowing” LED lines of running lights, the main headlight units are located in the upper part, and three large air intakes can be seen in the lower part. The concept also featured sharp lines, narrow exterior mirrors, retractable door handles, a black roof, thin stripes of taillights and a large wing.
The FT-Se's interior has a futuristic feel thanks to its unique blue woven plastic trim, which can be seen on the door panels, lower fascia and center console. The interior also features Recaro sports bucket seats with carbon fiber backrests and blue Alcantara trim. In front of the driver is a steering wheel, replacing the traditional steering wheel, and there are also three separate displays around it. Please note that the sports car does not have an additional multimedia touchscreen.

Even during the exhibition, Toyota showed the concepts that Kolesa.ru wrote about earlier. We are talking about the EPU pickup truck, the three-row Land Cruiser Se crossover, the Kayoibako compact electric van and the IMV 0 truck.
