The brand's first product in the new market will be the Chenglong H7 (4×2) truck tractor: this model is currently undergoing pre-sale preparation.
Chenglong Motor is a division responsible for commercial transport of the Dongfeng Corporation. The company where the brand's trucks roll off the assembly line is located in the city of Liuzhou in southern China. The production capacity of this plant is designed for 100,000 commercial vehicles per year, and its staff includes about 8.5 thousand employees.

A distribution agreement for the supply of Chenglong cars to the Russian Federation was signed in mid-July of this year, and the Tekhnika-ST company became the official distributor of the brand’s products on the Russian market. The list of tasks includes, among other things, the development of a network of dealer centers and service stations, as well as the organization of a central warehouse of spare parts in the country. Now there are already official dealers and service stations in Moscow, Sergiev Posad, St. Petersburg, Saratov and Belgorod.
Last month it became known that Chenglong was sending the first batch of commercial equipment to the Russian Federation. Now the local representative office said that the trucks are in Moscow and are now undergoing pre-sale preparation, and later the heavy trucks will be sent to dealers. The first product on the Russian market will be the Chenglong H7 truck tractor with a 4×2 wheel arrangement, and in the coming year, dump trucks and medium-duty equipment will be added to the local line of the brand.
The Chenglong H7 long-haul tractor is equipped with a six-cylinder in-line diesel engine of the YC6K1248-50 series developed by the Chinese company Yuchai. Its volume is 12.2 liters and its maximum power is 480 hp. It belongs to the Euro-5 eco-class. The motor is paired with a ZF automatic transmission with a retarder.
The truck's equipment list includes: heated seats, a multifunction steering wheel, a multimedia system with a 10-inch display with Bluetooth, air conditioning, adaptive cruise control, an electric sunroof, as well as a seating area with two berths and a control unit, storage boxes things and a refrigerator. Chenglong H7 also received a set of electronic systems, including ESP, EBS, ESC, HAS, LDWS, AEBS, FCW, as well as driver fatigue monitoring and a 360-degree camera.
According to the plans of the official distributor, by the end of this year 400 copies of the Chenglong H7 will reach Russian dealers, and in 2024 the company intends to supply more than a thousand truck tractors .
