This week was rich in news from the world of tuning in connection with the annual SEMA exhibition held in Las Vegas, but we also did not were able to pass by another creation of the Mansory studio from the Bavarian town of Brand – its specialists made the most powerful Mercedes-Benz S-Class in history even more powerful and faster.
All-wheel drive sports sedan Mercedes-AMG S 63 E Performance generation V 223 debuted in December last year and became the most powerful factory Mercedes S-Class in the history of the model – the maximum combined output of its plug-in hybrid power plant is 802 hp. and 1430 Nm, acceleration to 100 km/h takes 3.3 s, top speed is 290 km/h.

The power plant includes a 4.0-liter V8 petrol biturbo engine (factory index M 177), a starter-generator assisting it during acceleration, a 9-speed AMG Speedshift MCT 9G automatic transmission with a multi-plate wet clutch instead of a torque converter, and an electric traction motor on the rear axle. and a high-performance battery with a capacity of 13.1 kWh located above it.
Mansory specialists do not touched the electrical part of the power plant, but did a little magic on the internal combustion engine and equipped it with a new exhaust manifold, as a result of which the maximum total output of the power plant increased to 880 hp and 1490 Nm , acceleration time to “hundreds” was reduced to 2.8 s, maximum speed increased to 320 km/h. In addition, Mansory lowers the suspension by 20-30 mm and replaces the stock 20-inch wheels with its own 22-inch FD.15 Black Diamond forged wheels with massive hubs. The size of the front tires on the modified sedan is 265/30 R 22, the rear tires are 305/25 R 22.

Mansory, as always, pays special attention to the body: in the application to the Mercedes-AMG S 63 E Performance we see the usual set of carbon fiber parts for this studio, including “nostrils” for the radiator grille, a developed front splitter, a new hood with two air ducts, decorative trims on the sidewalls and mirrors, spoilers above the rear window and on the trunk lid, a new diffuser in the rear bumper. The body kit elements mounted on the bumpers and the spoilers on the rear are quite functional; they create additional downward load at high speeds and make the car's behavior more stable.

The interior is re-upholstered with thin perforated leather, its color and stitching color can be absolutely any, used on the demo sample dark gray leather with red stitching.
