Belgorod residents were warned about scammers acting on behalf of the operational headquarters

BELGOROD, November 11. The operational headquarters of the Belgorod region in its Telegram channel warns residents about the actions of scammers who use personal accounts to collect information about participants in the special operation.
“»In recent days, scammers have become more active, contacting residents of the Belgorod region on behalf of the regional security department, operational headquarters, employees of the named structures and asking them for personal data of participants in a special military operation, related information, as well as contact information for relatives.» , — the operational intelligence agency said in a statement.
The department asks not to trust personal accounts that request such information. Officially, such requests can only be sent from verified accounts of the Operational Headquarters of the Belgorod Region (Department of Regulatory Security), marked with a blue check.

As the Operational Headquarters emphasizes, if residents of the region doubt the authenticity of the account or the information they receive, it is recommended to contact the authorities through the official verified community of the Operational Headquarters.
