Sella Braverman sacked as Home Secretary as Rishi Ms Sunak is beginning a cabinet reshuffle.
A government spokesman said on Monday morning: “Rishi Sunak has asked Suella Braverman to leave government and she has agreed.”
Ms Braverman said: “ It has been the greatest privilege of my life to serve as Secretary of the Interior. I will say more in due course.»
The Home Secretary's position has come under pressure since last week when she wrote an unauthorized article criticizing the Metropolitan Police for a «double standard» in its handling of protests.
She also attacked “pro-Palestinian politicians.” and said scenes of the protest were «disturbingly reminiscent» of those in Northern Ireland.
Ms Braverman was blamed for heightened tensions and some of the far-right violence seen at Saturday's Armistice Day events in Whitehall
The day after the article was published, Downing Street said it had not been signed, raising questions about the Home Secretary's position.
Sir Ed Davey, leader of the Liberal Democrats, said: “Swella Braverman has never been fit. to be the Minister of Internal Affairs. Rishi Sunak knew this and appointed her anyway.
“It was the prime minister's sheer cowardice that kept her in the job even for so long. We are witnessing a broken party and a broken government that is destroying this country.
“This whole sad saga has shown the Conservative Party for what it really is.
“An unruly crowd is more focused on fighting and undermining each other rather than on protecting their constituents and rebuilding the country they broke. .
“They should put us all out of our misery and call a general election immediately.”
Ms Braverman was appointed by Home Secretary Liz Truss, but she was forced to resign six weeks later when it emerged she had broken the ministerial code by sharing an official document from your personal email address with a colleague in parliament.

Earlier this month she criticized pro-Palestinian marches , scheduled for Armistice Day, citing «reports that some of the organizers of Saturday's march have ties to terrorist groups, including Hamas.»
