The Sollers ST6 frame pickup truck produced in Vladivostok has reached dealers

The starting price of an all-wheel drive diesel truck of the Russian brand is 2,500,000 rubles.

About cooperation of the Russian company Sollers and the Chinese concern JAC became known last year. As part of the partnership, the plant in Yelabuga (Tatarstan) started producing Sollers Atlant and Argo commercial vehicles, which are JAC Sunray and JAC N25/N35 with different logos and nameplates. In September of this year, it became known that the line of the Russian brand was expanded to include the Sollers ST6 frame pickup truck.

The Sollers ST6 is assembled at a plant in Vladivostok, which previously produced models of the Japanese brand Mazda; The current name of the enterprise is “Automotive Industrial Technologies”. As Kolesa.ru reported earlier, the Sollers pickup truck is a twin of another JAC model, this time the T6 truck, which has been on the Russian market since 2019, acted as the “donor”.

Now the Sollers press center has announced that a frame pickup truck equipped with a diesel engine has reached dealers. The price of the Sollers ST6 truck in the Base version is 2.5 million rubles. For the execution of Comfort you will have to pay at least 2.6 million rubles. And for residents of the Far East there is a discount of 150 thousand rubles.

The pickup truck that goes on sale is equipped with a 2.0-liter diesel engine, the output of which is 136 hp and the maximum torque is 320 Nm. The engine is paired with a six-speed manual transmission. Sollers ST6 has all-wheel drive with reduction gear. The load capacity of the diesel version is 900 kg. In the future, the model will be available with a 2.0-liter gasoline turbo engine producing 176 hp. (290 Nm), which is also equipped with a 6-speed manual gearbox.

The list of basic equipment includes: two airbags, a seat belt reminder function, ABS, EBD, ESC systems, as well as a driver assistant when starting on a hill. The initial version also has air conditioning, multifunction steering wheel, cruise control, on-board computer, audio system, heated front seats, electrically adjustable exterior mirrors and rear parking sensors.

The Comfort version adds a leather steering wheel trim and seats, keyless entry with push-button start, a rearview camera, and an infotainment system with six speakers, a touchscreen and support for Apple Car Play and Android Auto.

Note that the exterior and interior of the Sollers ST6 are almost the same as the Chinese twin However, pickup trucks assembled at the Far Eastern plant have fewer chrome decorative elements. The dimensions of the cargo platform are 1520 x 1520 x 470 mm. The ground clearance of this truck is 197 mm.

In the future, the Sollers pickup will also be available with a 2.0-liter gasoline turbo engine producing 176 hp. (290 Nm), which is equipped with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The starting price for the petrol version of the truck has already been announced – 2.4 million rubles.
