    Ukrainian troops shelled Donetsk and Gorlovka

    DONETSK, November 14 Ukrainian troops fired 14 shells with a caliber of 155 millimeters at Donetsk and Gorlovka, reported the DPR representative office in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related with war crimes of Ukraine (JCCC).
    “Shelling from the armed formations of Ukraine was recorded in the direction: 07.00 – the settlement of Galitsynivka – the city of Donetsk (Kirovsky district): three shells of 155 mm caliber were fired,” says a message published on the representative’s Telegram channel.

    In addition, from 11.50 to 16.55, Ukrainian troops fired a total of 11 more 155 caliber shells into the Kuibyshevsky district of Donetsk and Gorlovka, as well as three 152 shells Golmovsky caliber.

    Kirovsky district is located in the southwest of Donetsk, and Kuibyshevsky district is in the west.
    Gorlovka is located 50 kilometers north of Donetsk, the city is home to the Stirol chemical concern and coal mining enterprises. This is one of the largest populated areas of the DPR; before the start of the conflict in Donbass, the population of Gorlovka numbered more than 250 thousand people.
    155 mm artillery is used by NATO countries. The United States supplied Ukraine with long-range howitzers M777 of 155 mm caliber, Ukrainian troops are actively using them to shell the cities of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics. Also, the Ukrainian troops were supplied with German PzH 2000 self-propelled artillery mounts, Polish Krab self-propelled guns and French CAESAR self-propelled guns using shells of this caliber.
