MOSCOW, November 13. Advanced Russian high-tech technologies and solutions will be presented as part of the exhibition of the III Congress of Young Scientists, which will be held on November 28-30 on the Sirius federal territory, reports the Roscongress Foundation.
The exhibition will feature stands of leading educational institutions, public and private companies that are engaged in the development of high technology in Russia, as well as scientific interactive spaces. The exhibition area this year will be about 6 thousand square meters, which is significantly more than last year.
Among the exhibition projects and exhibitors in 2023 is “Scientific Lounge: 100 Questions for an Academician.” The theme of the exhibition is “Smart Home of the Future”. The space will be implemented using technological solutions that are being created today in scientific and research centers, laboratories and technology companies. The living room will be divided into spatial blocks symbolizing the different rooms of the home of the future, each of which will feature thematic technologies and innovations.
«The Scientific Living Room is an innovative format for promoting a science-centric view of the world, dialogue between scientists and with scientists. On the one hand, it is a space of high concentration of ideas, technologies, developments, a place where leading Russian scientific laboratories and startups will present their projects and technologies for organizing a comfortable life space of the house of the future. And on the other hand, there is a platform where scientists, academicians of the Russian Academy of Sciences, will share their experience in building a scientific career and answer questions from congress guests about what is now in demand in science and in life, what technologies will develop in the near future time and how to create something new in a world of high concentration of ideas,” explained Leonid Gusev, vice-rector of Moscow State University, whose words are quoted in the message.
In turn, as part of the implementation of the OUR LABA project, there will be an exhibition of the latest samples of scientific equipment, consumables and reagents produced in Russia and Belarus. Interactive terminals will be organized for congress participants, where everyone will be able to find equipment for their laboratory made by Union State companies.
“Now, in addition to the catalog of scientific goods, we have launched the “Scientific Workshops” project — a map-register of service and repair organizations, which will be a great help for scientific organizations equipped with foreign instruments. More than 25 organizations have already been added to the register. We are trying to build a dialogue between manufacturers and researchers, one of the results of this work was the launch of the search module “Analogues of Foreign Equipment”. At the site of “OUR LABA” we will present new products and analogues of scientific products created in cooperation with scientists,” noted a member of the Coordination Council for Youth Affairs in Science and educational spheres of the Council under the President of the Russian Federation for Science and Education, co-author of the project «OUR LABA» Olga Tarasova.
One of the key events of the congress will be the exhibition «Alley of Regions» in the context of the implementation of 18 initiatives of the Decade of Science and Technology in the Russian Federation, which will tell about the scientific potential of the regions and federal districts of the country. The exhibition will feature ten regions — leaders in the ranking of scientific and technological development of regions, which for the second time was prepared by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia.
In addition, the stand of the Central Research Institute of Robotics and Technical Cybernetics (CRRI RTK) will host the stages of the “RTK Cup” — a competition of young engineers, students and schoolchildren who create robotic systems for working in extreme conditions. For the competition, a special obstacle course will be created — a training ground consisting of sections that simulate the conditions of rough terrain and an urban environment, as well as the consequences of disasters.
National Research Center «Kurchatov Institute» is preparing a stand dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the center. The theme of the exhibition will cover the history of the institute's scientific achievements — from its creation to the present day. Within the space there will be a cinema hall presenting the scientific and technical programs of the center. In addition, the stand will house an interactive museum dedicated to the history of Russian wine science — «Vinologiya», created by specialists from the institute.
A multimedia exhibition dedicated to the history of the Russian Academy of Sciences will open on the sidelines of the congress. The exhibition is being implemented in anticipation of the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Sciences in 2024. The exhibition presents unique archival documents, photographs, materials from scientific expeditions and notes from scientists, covering the historical period of the Academy’s work from 1724 to the present.
The exhibition will be complemented by expositions of leaders of Russian knowledge-intensive industry and business.
