And also the motivation can be the search for like-minded people and people close in spirit — this is how the club history of the co-owner of the ACIG Group of Companies and a member of the ClubFirst business community Viktor Tolmachev began.

As a physics and mathematics student, Viktor Tolmachev dreamed of building a scientific career and becoming a rescue pilot. Plans had to be postponed — it was necessary to provide for the family. Thus began my immersion into the banking sector, and then into operational and strategic consulting together with my business comrades. “My colleagues and I lacked creativity and freedom. We decided to go into private business, where we could use our knowledge and skills. At first we told clients what quality service is, then we developed areas in the field of jurisprudence, security, audit, automation, personnel training, etc. Gradually, a group of companies was formed, in which many areas of activity were represented: comprehensive consulting, publishing , congress and exhibition, media activities, equipment supplies, construction, energy engineering, agriculture and social projects,” says Tolmachev.
Over 20 years, the ACIG Group of Companies has transformed from a private business into an image life. “On the one hand, this is a calling, and that’s great, on the other hand, at a certain moment professional deformation occurs, and a change of scenery is needed. Since childhood, I dreamed of becoming a rescuer and a pilot, and at some point I had the opportunity to take a little break from business.”

Having learned to fly a helicopter, Victor decided to apply his new skill to volunteering. Today, thanks to his love of the sky and flying, the entrepreneur saves lives by participating in the search for the VPSO “ANGEL” helicopter search team (as part of the “Liza-Alert” PSO). Victor still remembers the first time the search for a missing person was successful and led to a result: “At that moment I only heard my rapid heartbeat. I still worry every time we go on a search, and I pray that at least the lost person’s phone doesn’t die prematurely.”
Becoming a pilot and saving people is not the only childhood dream that he managed to fulfill. So, once an entrepreneur wanted to become a scientist, and now he is a board member of the Consortium of Robotics and Intelligent Control Systems and editor-in-chief of the World of Robotics magazine: “Robotics for me is a synergy of childhood desires and the desire to engage in an industry that is defining for many activities — this is how you feel in the flow.»

A passion for flying helped Viktor Tolmachev find like-minded people in the ClubFirst business community: together with his classmates, he founded the Helicopter Club. Victor has been a member of ClubFirst for two and a half years, and for him the community is not about business connections and benefits, but about finding like-minded people. “The club is a platform where everyone can find something they want. I came here primarily for communication. Still, you can’t discuss everything you want with the team. I can come to ClubFirst with any problem, I know that I am not alone. It’s like in sports: performing individually and playing in a team are completely different things, it’s a different energy. In the club, I have people of my element next to me, and this is the most valuable thing,” says Tolmachev.
According to Victor, the club gives him the opportunity to share his dreams and make them come true. “It’s like before: you come to Artek and don’t know anyone, and then you find people you don’t want to part with. The club allows you not to leave anywhere. Sales and increasing the value of a business are good, but there are many other tools in life with which you can increase your revenue. In the club I found friends who want to develop in business, sports and creativity. This is an opportunity to be close to those who are ready to exchange energy with you, and this is thousands of times more valuable than business cooperation,” says Viktor Tolmachev.
