Novikombank will provide support to priority projects for the socio-economic development of the Republic of Buryatia. The corresponding cooperation agreement was signed by the supporting bank of the Rostec State Corporation and the regional government on the Day of Buryatia during the business program of the International Exhibition and Forum “Russia”.
< p class="doc__text">The document was signed by the Chairman of the Board of Novikombank Elena Georgieva and the Head of the Republic of Buryatia Alexey Tsydenov. Under the terms of the agreement, Novikombank will provide financial support to important regional projects in the field of socio-economic development. In addition, representatives of the credit institution will participate in joint events and consultations on topics relevant to the region.
“The agreement is designed to contribute to solving the priority tasks of the socio-economic development of the Republic of Buryatia, strengthening its economic and industrial potential, implementing investment programs and projects, providing the population and business entities with a wide range of high-quality banking services,” emphasized the Chairman of the Board of Novikombank, curator of the Voronezh regional branch “ SoyuzMash of Russia” Elena Georgieva.
Novikombank has long and successfully cooperated with the region in a number of areas. In particular, it provides financing on optimal terms to key enterprises of the republic. The total amount of limits approved for these purposes amounted to almost 8 billion rubles.
“Novikombank serves enterprises engaged in government procurement, and we have such enterprises in Buryatia. In particular, among the clients of the supporting bank of the Rostec State Corporation in Buryatia is the Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant (U-UAZ) of the Russian Helicopters holding, the flagship of the high-tech industry of the Republic,” said the head of Buryatia Alexey Tsydenov.
The plant's products are supplied to customers in Russia and other countries; rotorcraft from Buryatia are successfully operated in more than 40 countries around the world. Over 84 years, U-UAZ has produced more than 9 thousand aircraft.
For the convenience of servicing retail clients—employees of enterprises, in 2021 Novikombank opened a service office in Ulan-Ude and is developing special products for industrial workers of the republic. Including a social payment card for an employee of the Rostec State Corporation, which has no analogues on the market in terms of the volume of benefits and privileges.
