ROSTOV-ON-DON, 16 Nov.Those who lost their documents due to a partial collapse of a house in Astrakhan will be provided with assistance as soon as possible and out of turn, reports the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Astrakhan Region.
«Direct lines have been organized for citizens who have lost their documents as a result of the tragedy. All those who apply in need will be provided with public services through the state traffic inspectorate and the migration police service as soon as possible and out of turn,» the message says.
The head of the regional police department, police lieutenant general Igor Romashkin, held a meeting of the operational headquarters of the forces and means of the internal affairs bodies involved in providing rescue and search operations at the scene of the emergency. “Everyone who needs our help must be documented in the shortest possible time,” his words are quoted in the message.
Earlier, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that the operational duty shift of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Astrakhan region received information from an eyewitness about the appearance of a crack in the outer wall of a five-story residential building located at the address: Astrakhan city, Kirovsky district, Vokzalnaya square, 1A. Later, the third and fourth entrances of a five-story residential building collapsed. According to preliminary data from the governor, one woman died, several people are missing.
