MOSCOW, Nov 17. The attackers opened fire near a bank in the center of Moscow and stole a large sum of money, a law enforcement source said.

"According to the interlocutor, previously, at the bank on Presnensky Val, unknown persons in a car drove up to the couriers, who were carrying about 300 million rubles, opened fire, and then stole the money,” he said.
The agency’s interlocutor added that they were looking for the robbers.
Later, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed this information. As the department clarified, today at about 19:30 on Presnensky Val Street, unknown persons threatened two men with a pistol and shot several times in their direction. Then they “openly stole the bag” and fled in a Mercedes.
According to preliminary information, one person was injured. Police officers are identifying the criminals.
