MOSCOW, November 14. Pink Floyd frontman Roger Waters was not accommodated in hotels in Argentina and Uruguay because of his critical statements about Israel, Infobae reports.
It is noted that the musician was refused accommodating a total of four luxury hotels. The owner of one of them noted that he decided “not to accommodate a person who publicly incites hatred.”
Infobae did not disclose where the rocker ended up staying during his tour.
The Pink Floyd frontman has not yet commented on the situation either.
Roger Waters is scheduled to perform on November 17 in Montevideo at the Centenario Stadium, and on November 21 and 22 concerts at the Monumental River Plate in Buenos Aires.
Waters had previously had problems with performances. In the spring, his concerts in Frankfurt were canceled by organizers after he was accused of anti-Semitism.
The 80-year-old musician gained a bad reputation after his interview with Glen Greenwald on the show System Update, where he publicly called out Israel's actions towards Palestine with 1960 occupation, and the current actions of Hamas are resistance to this occupation.
