Tchaikovskaya powerfully responded to Rodnina’s criticism of Russian tournaments

Critical statements of a State Duma deputy three-time Olympic champion in figure skating Irina Rodnina are connected with the fact that she did not find herself in the coaching profession, said the head coach of the Russian figure skating team, Elena Tchaikovskaya.
Earlier, Rodnina told the newspaper “Sport-Express” that she does not watch the Russian Grand Prix in figure skating, since only Russian athletes participate in it, and called it a “housing office championship.”
““Rodnina is a great athlete, but she didn’t find herself in figure skating and coaching. Hence such pain, such statements that mean nothing,” Tchaikovskaya told reporters.
