A cat was also rescued during the fire. The other animals got out, but this fluffy guy apparently panicked and hid. They managed to find him and hand him over to the neighbors,” the publication says.

On Friday at approximately eight o’clock in the evening, emergency services received a report of a fire in an apartment building. When rescuers arrived, the apartment on the first floor was on fire. Neighbors managed to save the woman and handed her over to the ambulance. The causes of the fire remain to be determined.

In total, three fires occurred in the region over the past 24 hours. In the Poddorsky district, rescuers extinguished a bathhouse, and in Borovichi — garbage in a truck.
