But there is also a second thing. Many people are adults, literate, knowledgeable, talented. Of course, they are minding their own business… But I admit that people did not follow, did not understand what was happening,” Putin said, speaking at the St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum.
He noted that every person certainly has the right to his own point of view, but one must also take into account such a factor as the opinion of the people.
“»There is one more circumstance that everyone certainly needs to take into account, this is the mood in society and the opinion of the people of the country that we consider or we don’t consider it our homeland. And this is an objective factor that no one can escape,» Putin said.
