NOVOGORSK (Moscow region), November 18, Andrey Mikhailov. Midfielder of the Russian national football team Nikita Krivtsov admitted that he does not know a single player of the Cuban national team.
The match between the national teams of Russia and Cuba will take place on November 20. The meeting will take place in Volgograd at the 45,000-seat stadium that hosted the 2018 World Cup games. On Saturday, 24 football players attended a training session open to the media at the base in Novogorsk.

At the moment I don't know a single player of the Cuban national team. There are no problems with motivation. The team plays and trains “What difference does it make who you play with,” Krivtsov told reporters.
Among others, Monaco player Alexander Golovin and Daler Kuzyaev from Le Havre, who play in the French Championship, were called up to the national team.
“Golovin and Kuzyaev are good football players, it’s not for nothing that they play in France. What are they superior to others in? Probably physically,” added the Krasnodar footballer.
The match with the Cubans will be the third home match for the Russian team after being suspended from international competitions in February 2022. The Russian team played against the Iraqi team on March 26 in St. Petersburg (2:0), and on October 12 they played a match against the Cameroon team in Moscow (1:0).
