Dzagoev announced on Tuesday his retirement from his professional career at the age of 33. At the end of September, he moved to the Greek Lamia, signing a contract until the end of the summer of 2024. The player spent the 2022/23 season with Rubin Kazan, which played in the First League, and then became a free agent. After this, the midfielder began to keep in shape by training with CSKA. Dzagoev has played for the Russian national team since 2008 and played in 59 matches, scoring nine goals.
