Alana Beciom claims she was forced to quit after fired co-workers threatened her and vandalized her car.
California Taco Bell fired employees who engaged in group sex in public other guests during a Christmas party at the restaurant last year, according to a lawsuit filed by a former employee who reported them.
The lawsuit also alleges that an employee who reported an incident at a holiday celebration that led to her former co-workers' layoffs forced her to leave her job after she faced threats and had her car window smashed by a co-worker of the fired co-workers.
A message seeking comment on the allegations in the lawsuits filed by Alana Beciom in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Nov. 15 was not immediately returned by the company that owns the Taco Bowl franchise location in question.
In a statement to the Guardian, Taco Bell's public relations department said: «While we do not own or operate this restaurant, the franchisee who owns and operates this restaurant stated that they take these allegations very seriously.»
The allegations in Becioma's lawsuit are more salacious than those typically contained in civil court documents.
She said her boss at Taco Bell, where she worked, invited her to the chain's Christmas party on Dec. 18, 2022. Beciom said she brought a plate of guacamole to the meeting, which she was told would be a buffet-style buffet.
Beciom said she arrived to find the house's windows covered with wrapping paper. . Security cameras in the lobby were also covered as her supervisor served alcohol to employees, including some whom Beciom claimed were being «overserved.»
Late at night, Beciom went outside briefly. told. She then returned and allegedly discovered a co-worker «having sex with his wife in front of everyone at a party.»
Beciom said she also saw that co-worker's wife at the same time kissed two women: her manager and another colleague.
The scene left Beciom “shocked, outraged and outraged,” the lawsuit says. . Beciom said she was in for more after she ran out of the restaurant but returned for a bowl of guacamole.
Her manager and one of the other co-workers involved in the group sex. vomited, she said in her lawsuit. While one vomited in the trash, another vomited directly into a bowl of guacamole, she said.

Bechiom filed a complaint with Taco Bell's human resources department as well as the Colorado-based Alvarado Restaurant Nation, which owned this franchise establishment. . She said that the manager and other employees who had sex at the party were fired.
But, according to her, her problems do not end there. She alleged that her sacked co-workers threatened her and broke her car window. Instead of punishing those who bullied her, Beciom's superiors tried to transfer her to another location, her lawsuit alleged.
Beciom eventually left.
Her subsequent lawsuit seeks damages from her employers because she says they created such a hostile work environment for her that she was forced to resign. It remained pending on Tuesday.
