TV presenter Ivan Urgant denied his involvement in the publication of the post with the burning armored personnel carrier, noting that it appeared in a fake channel, about which employees of his program “Evening Urgant” had previously complained to the administration of the social network.
“»With tenacity worthy of better use, I again inform you: the show «Evening Urgant» has never had a telegram channel. This is a fake channel, which the program staff began to fight long before the well-known events. Their complaints are not to which they did not provide. And after the publication of a post with a burning armored personnel carrier, a request was sent to the Telegram support service to close the channel for spreading false information on behalf of the program, I am pleased to attach a screenshot,” Urgant wrote in his Telegram channel.
He noted that the administration of the social network deleted the post, and “left the fake channel alive and well.”
