Details of the night shootout in which a policeman died: we ran into auto fixers

    The bandits fired to kill

New details of the tragedy in the village of Antsiferovo near Moscow, where police officers were shot tonight, have become known. The four men detained for extortion may be involved in a series of frauds related to cars, including car fraud.

As MK learned, the extortionists were initially introduced to the future victim by a relative of one of the detainees, 22-year-old resident of Zhukovsky Stanislav Chartaev. The young man equips cars with music speakers and last year asked auto mechanic Dmitry from the village of Antsiferovo to help with minor repairs. The mechanic agreed, although due to poor health he rarely takes orders. In the winter of this year, the client turned to Dmitry with a new request – to repair his brother Stanislav’s Toyota Corolla. The car had previously been dismantled to avoid being seized by bailiffs for debt. And this time the car mechanic did not want to take on the job, which included painting the car. The client “pressed” for pity: the car service center estimated the repairs at 300 thousand rubles, and the car owner wanted to save money. As a result, Dmitry agreed to put the Toyota in order for 125 thousand rubles. The work dragged on until May, but in the end Stanislav took the car, quite satisfied with its condition.

However, a month later, Chartaev again turned to the auto mechanic with complaints. He stated that the painting was done poorly. The young man brought the car for service and pointed out the scratches, which looked fresh. The auto mechanic suggested that the Toyota was scratched after the repair, but Stanislav angrily demanded that Dmitry paint the car again. The worker agreed to do this only if the client paid for the paint himself. After this, threats began to be received against Dmitry and his family. Stanislav came to his house with friends in two cars – the same Toyota and a BMW, the men began to demand 100 thousand rubles. To any objections they shouted: “Shut up and sit quietly!” To intimidate, one of the blackmailers showed a pistol in a holster in his belt and said: “If I wanted, I would have put you down already.”

The threats continued the next night by phone – and the blackmailers said that they would burn the house and shoot Dmitry’s mother. The victims of the extortionist contacted the police and, for the sake of appearances, agreed to give up the money. In the courtyard of the car mechanic's house, an ambush was set up by employees of the criminal investigation department of the Kurovsky police department.

In total, four extortionists arrived at the Strelka – they were again in that same Toyota. One of them again showed the gun to Dmitry's mother, and she demanded that he move away from her. Then the criminal threw the gun at his accomplice’s car, and he swung at the woman. It was after this that the operatives decided to detain the extortionists – they decided that the criminal had hit the mother of a car mechanic. They shouted: “Criminal police, everyone lie down!”, One of them (Lieutenant Danila Krupinov) showed his ID. But one of the gang members began shouting in response: “Shoot!” Another criminal, who was sitting in the car, slammed the car door of detective Dmitry Komelkov, and then began shooting through the crack from the slightly open window. He clearly fired to kill. Moreover, in addition to the traumatic one, the bandits most likely had a combat pistol – the bullets pierced the body armor. As a result, two policemen were injured, Komelkov later died in the hospital. The shooter, 26-year-old Ramazan Aliyev, a resident of Ramenskoye, was wounded by return fire. He, his older brother, Stanislav Chartaev, and another attacker were detained.

Now investigators are checking the criminals for involvement in similar crimes. Perhaps this is not the first time they deliberately damage a car after repairs, and then extort money from the craftsmen. In addition, the characteristic damage to the car and Aliyev’s shooting style suggest that the bandits participated in car set-ups – it is by such distinctive features that one can identify fraudsters on the roads.
