The retail business of Otkritie Bank (part of the VTB Group) for the nine months of 2023, according to international financial reporting standards (IFRS), grew in all segments. The loan portfolio increased by more than 21% over the year, to 820.49 billion rubles. The portfolio of liabilities of individuals grew by almost 15%, to 1.2* trillion rubles.
The portfolio of car loans grew at the fastest pace in 2023. It amounted to 138.3 billion rubles, an increase of 32%. Over the nine months of 2023, the bank demonstrated an increase in issuances by 73% in volume and by 33% in the number of concluded agreements compared to the same period in 2022.
Growth in the portfolio of mortgage loans compared to nine in the months of 2022 amounted to 27% — up to 417.7 billion rubles. Mortgage issuances more than doubled in volume and nearly 88% in number. The main driver of growth was programs with state support and joint lending programs with developers.
The credit card portfolio increased year-on-year by 20%, to 28.7 billion rubles. Issues in volume increased by more than 36%, in quantity by more than 43%. Over the year, the bank launched a number of unique promotions and services that allow customers to receive even more benefits from purchases with Otkritie credit cards.
The growth of the cash loan portfolio was about 9% — up to 235.8 billion rubles. The volume of consumer loans issued exceeded the previous year's figure by almost 2.2 times, and the number — by 1.9 times. The bank actively developed remote sales channels. Since the beginning of the year, online loan sales have grown by 45%, their share has increased to 70% of all sales.
The portfolio of funds of individuals increased by 154 billion rubles compared to the nine months of last year, to 1.2 trillion rubles (+15%). In 2023, deposits for a period of three months were in greatest demand among clients.
