MOSCOW, November 28 Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle with Progress MS cargo ship 25″ was installed on launch pad No. 31 of the Baikonur Cosmodrome, Roscosmos reported.
“Today the Soyuz-2.1a space rocket with the Progress MS-25 cargo ship was transported to the launch complex of the 31st site of the Baikonur Cosmodrome,” says a message on the state corporation’s website.
It is noted that after installing the rocket in a vertical position at the launch complex, Roscosmos specialists continued preparing it for launch.
The launch of the Progress MS-25 cargo ship by the Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle is planned on December 1 at 12.25 Moscow time.
The truck will deliver more than 2.5 tons of cargo to the ISS, including 515 kilograms of fuel for refueling the station, 420 kilograms of drinking water and 40 kilograms of nitrogen, as well as more than 1.5 tons of resource equipment and tools, equipment for experiments, clothing, food for crew.
As the state corporation specified, images dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the flight of the reusable spacecraft Buran were painted on the rocket, as well as centenary of the birth of the first head of the Main Directorate of Space Facilities of the USSR Ministry of Defense, Alexander Maksimov (born August 29, 1923).
In addition, Soyuz-2.1a has stickers in honor of the Decade of Science and Technology, announced in Russia in 2022-2031, and the “Games of the Future” tournament, which will be held in Kazan in 2024.
