SAMARA, November 29 A fire occurred while pumping hexane at an oil and gas company in the city of Otradny, Samara region, the press service of the regional state administration told reporters Ministry of Emergency Situations.
At 15.25 Moscow time, the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a message about a fire on the territory of an oil and gas company on Promzona Street, 1 in the city of Otradny. Arriving units determined that the fire occurred while pumping hexane.
“”At 17.06 (16.06 Moscow time) on November 29, 2023, the fire was localized to an area of 100 square meters. As a result of the incident, there were no deaths, one person was injured (a man, personal details are being established),” the regional head office of the Ministry of Emergency Situations said in a statement.
48 people and 13 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire, including 23 people and six pieces of equipment from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
