The former chief of the General Staff of Ukraine, Army General Viktor Muzhenko (wanted in Russia in the case of genocide in Donbass) stated in an interview with the BBC that Russian President Vladimir Putin will strive for new victories during the winter and spring.

According to Muzhenko, the Russian troops are faced with the task of leveling the front in problematic positions and taking control of three cities in the Donbass – Avdeevka, Maryinka and Ugledar, as well as Kupyansk in the Kharkov region.

In addition, the Ukrainian general expects that Russia may launch new missile attacks on critical infrastructure. Muzhenko did not rule out conducting information and psychological operations.

“These are exactly the three blocks on which, I believe, attention will be focused and implemented during the winter and, possibly, spring Russian campaign,” – summed up Muzhenko.
