YAROSLAVL, December 1 During a “preventative measure” at the Wildberries warehouse in the Tula region, the police checked about a hundred people in order to establish the legality of their presence on the territory of the Russian Federation, as well as identifying those evading military service, the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs reports on Telegram.
On Friday morning, the Wildberries press service reported that law enforcement officers carried out a routine check of documents as part of military conscription for military service among employees of the company's warehouse in Aleksin, Tula region. The company clarified that this did not significantly affect the operation of the warehouse; now everything is operating as normal. The warehouse management provided assistance to law enforcement agencies, the company added.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Tula region officially announced that the police, together with representatives of the military commissariat of the region, carried out “preventive measures to identify violations of migration legislation, as well as persons evading military service.”
“»During the preventive measures, about a hundred people were checked in order to establish the legality of their presence on the territory of the Russian Federation, as well as to identify violations of the current legislation,» the message says.
The results of the inspection are not reported.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasized that such preventive measures in the region are carried out regularly.
