Myskina summed up the season for Medvedev and Rublev

ST. PETERSBURG, December 2, Dmitry Edigarev. The past season was excellent for Russian tennis players Daniil Medvedev and Andrei Rublev, said Anastasia Myskina, vice-president of the Russian Tennis Federation (RFF).
At the final tournament of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), Medvedev reached the semi-finals, where he lost to Italian Jannik Sinner. Andrey Rublev failed to qualify from the group at the final tournament. In the ATP rankings, Medvedev is in third place, and Rublev is in fifth place.
“”Medvedev and Rublev had a great time last season. Yes, I wanted to see Andrey playing in the decisive stages of the final tournament. I'm not saying that he performed poorly, there are just reasons why he didn't show his best tennis. It's great that Danya left the group, but he had an incredibly difficult year. Probably, fatigue has accumulated. Tennis players are just people. But for our guys the season can be considered excellent. If not for the injury, Karen Khachanov would also have competed for the top 10,” Myskina said.
