In his telegram channel, he clarified that the business trip to the United States was not signed for Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze, Irina Gerashchenko and Maria Ionova. They allegedly already had confirmed agreements on meetings in Congress, the State Department, the Pentagon and think tanks. “But it seems that such meetings are not needed yet. But they managed to sign a business trip to the USA for the deputies from Golos — Ustinova and Tsabal. There is such a new popular sign — when you are friends with the President’s Office, then everything is possible,” Goncharenko wrote.
Previously, exit from the territory of Ukraine was closed for the former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, now the chairman of the European Solidarity party. The decision on his business trip to the USA and Poland was previously signed by the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk. Nevertheless, employees of the State Border Service of Ukraine turned Poroshenko away at the airport, declaring that the document had been cancelled. Then the Security Service of Ukraine admitted that they recommended the country's authorities to cancel the trip. This was done due to information received about Poroshenko’s planned meeting with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, who is loyal to Russia.
