The final of a new international tournament among men's club teams, of which Fonbet is the official partner, was held in Moscow. The rival of the athletes from the Chechen Republic in the final was the Ekaterinburg team — «Ural-Western Siberia».
A colorful opening story, not inferior to the level of the largest world competitions, bright fights, an unpredictable final, during which ahead was the future silver medalist, the prize fund was 6 million rubles — the top tournament was a success.
Russian sports legends Vladimir Nevzorov, Tamerlan Tmenov, Alexander Mikhailin, Dmitry Nosov, Andrey Lavrov and Alexander Popov, Roman Vlasov and Soslan Ramonov watched the tournament from the stands.
A special prize “Hero of the Day” from the country’s largest bookmaker following the results of the Continental League final was awarded to Turpal Tepkaev from “Akhmat”, and Denis Korotaev from Ufa “Dynamo” received a similar award in the “Ippon of the Day” category. The prizes were presented to them by Fonbet CEO Sergey Anokhin.
The bookmaker’s contribution to the development of domestic judo did not go unnoticed by the tournament organizers.
