The Association of Commercial Real Estate Participants for Sustainable Development (ARKN) was founded by two leading companies in the field of commercial real estate – O1 Properties and STONE. ARKN is an association of key industry players, designed to represent their interests, put forward initiatives aimed at disseminating and popularizing ESG approaches, and serve as a platform for the development of joint projects.

Pavel Barbashev, commercial director of O1 Properties, and Victoria Vasilyeva, deputy general director of STONE, spoke on behalf of ARKN. They spoke about the history of the creation of ARKN, its goals and mission.
The speech by Veronica Ilyina, Managing Director of the National PPP Center, was dedicated to the Clover system, the operator of which is the PPP National Center. The system allows real estate projects to be assessed for compliance with the principles of sustainability and green building. Currently, more than 100 objects with a total area of 7.8 million square meters have been applied for certification. m. The creation of a Russian green certification system was the first initiative of ARKN. It was launched in the summer of 2022 with the support of the PPP Center and the ANO “Center for Sustainable Development in the Field of Construction and Operation of Real Estate”.
ARKN intends to actively promote the implementation of sustainable practices and standards in the field of commercial real estate, and also contribute to the development of a unified position of participants in the commercial real estate market on the system of voluntary environmental certification of commercial real estate, classification of buildings, etc. The Association invites interested developers, owners, operators of commercial real estate spaces, consultants and investors to join this important initiative.
