The hybrid will be offered, among other things, with a cabin for four, however, such a design will appear only next year.
A large four-door in the line of the Chinese premium brand Voyah, which belongs to the Dongfeng concern, appeared last year: in its homeland the model is known as Zhuiguang or Chasing Light, and in export markets, including Russia, it bears the name Passion. Previously, the sedan was available exclusively as an electric car, but now the range has been expanded: sales of the rechargeable all-wheel drive PHEV hybrid have started in the Middle Kingdom.

Voyah Passion PHEV is equipped with a 1.5 petrol turbo-four (136 hp) and a pair of electric motors (the front produces 177 hp, the rear – 217 hp). The internal combustion engine operates primarily as a generator to recharge the 43 kWh battery, but it can also be connected to the front wheels. The total output of the hybrid sedan is 530 hp. and 810 Nm. It was announced that the four-door will travel 262 km on electric power alone on the CLTC cycle, and 1,260 km in hybrid mode. The Voyah Passion PHEV will reach the first “hundred” in 5.9 seconds. For comparison: two electric sedan engines produce 510 hp. and 730 Nm, the full-fledged “green” model has an 82 or 109 kWh battery, a range of 580 or 730 km, and accelerates to 100 km/h in 5.2 or 6.7 seconds (depending on the battery).< /p> 1/5 2/5 3/5 4/5 5/5
The new modification is distinguished not only by its filling — the hybrid has its own exterior design. Instead of a plug, a radiator grille appeared with many shiny elements repeating the brand emblem; The front bumper has also been replaced; in addition, the Passion PHEV sedan lacks a pronounced “beak”. The trunk lid is divided in two by an additional light, but the model retains a retractable spoiler. The hybrid four-door is equipped with 19- or 20-inch wheels (the electric car has 20-inch wheels by default). The length and wheelbase are the same — 5088 and 3000 mm, respectively.

Inside, the hybrid generally repeated the electric version, there is a two-spoke steering wheel, a display across the entire width of the front panel (consists of three screens) and a separate display on the central tunnel. The seats are heated, ventilated and have a massage function; the rear right seat can also have a retractable footrest. The list of equipment also includes a head-up display, a facial recognition system and a variety of electronic driver assistants.

At the same time, a VIP version with a cabin for four has also been announced for the Voyah Passion PHEV; this version was called the CEO Concierge Limited Edition (the electric car does not have this yet). Instead of a sofa, there are separate and more luxurious armchairs in the back; on the tunnel between them there is a touch panel, which obviously controls all available functions. There are also folding tables and a couple of large tablets. Note that the Voyah Dream minivan also has a similar VIP option, and it is sold in Russia.
< p>The five-seat hybrid sedan is offered in two trim levels for 252,800 and 277,800 yuan — this is approximately 3.2 million and 3.6 million rubles at the current exchange rate. The main difference is that the more expensive Voyah Passion PHEV has air suspension. The CEO Concierge Limited Edition will cost 358,800 yuan (about 4.6 million rubles), but the four-seater sedan will go on sale only next year (and it is possible that its circulation will be limited). The electric Voyah Passion in China today costs from 322,900 yuan (4.1 million rubles).
Most likely, the hybrid will subsequently reach the Russian market.
