    A track from the series “The Boy's Word” topped the global Shazam chart

    MOSCOW, December 6 The song in the Tatar language “Pyala” by the Russian duet “Aigel” from the series “The Boy’s Word. Blood on the Asphalt” topped the world rating of the Shazam music recognition application, information is posted on the website.

    The Tatar composition overtook the tracks of all popular artists and became the leader of the world charts.

    The electronic hip-hop duet “Aigel” was created in 2016 and consists of the poetess and singer from Naberezhnye Chelny Aigel Gaisina and musician from St. Petersburg Ilya Baramia.

    The song “Pyala”, recorded in 2020, became the soundtrack of a series about Kazan criminal gangs of the late 1980s, but was not listed in the credits.
    After the start of the special operation, the musicians of “Aigel” spoke out in support of Ukraine and left Russia, which is why, from September 1, 2022, they were included in the list of artists whose concerts are “not recommended” in the Russian Federation.
