STONE and “Collected in the Garden” decorated Nochlezhka

Developer STONE and the flower boutique “Collected in the Garden” decorated the Nochlezhka charity organization for the New Year. The façade is decorated with fir branches and garlands, and a large luminous deer appears in front of the entrance. The initiative to decorate the facade, as well as all financial expenses, was taken by the developer STONE.

Since 2021, STONE has been the general partner of Nochlezhka and helps the charity in three areas: financial support, participation in volunteer events and assistance in finding employment for Nochlezhka’s wards. In addition, the developer traditionally decorates the office of a charitable organization on the eve of the New Year, and also holds other events aimed at attracting the attention of citizens to the problem of homelessness.

“It may seem that decorating the Nochlezhka building so brightly for the New Year is unnecessary. But homelessness is a difficult and very vulnerable period in a person’s life. This is the time when people spend all their energy on the most basic things, on the bare minimum that allows them to survive. The festive mood is considered an “optional” joy that for some reason must be earned. We are convinced that every person should have the opportunity to celebrate the holidays with dignity. And we’re glad that our friends from STONE and “Gathered in the Garden” think the same thing, so we took on the decor of “Nochlezhka,” said Director of “Nochlezhka” in Moscow Daria Baibakova.

< p class="doc__text">Cooperation with Nochlezhka is an important part of the developer’s great work to create an equal, comfortable urban environment for each of its residents. Together with the charity organization, the company is developing a modern model of conscious business and scaling up knowledge about the problem of homelessness, launching new projects to help Nochlezhka.

“Nochlezhka is located next to two of our projects. For us, such a neighborhood is not a problem, but a reason for pride. We have been helping Nochlezhka for three years now and have seen how the attitude of area residents towards the work of the charitable organization has changed. As a developer, we believe that the development of the urban environment cannot be imagined without taking into account the interests of every person, including homeless people. We support Nochlezhka in a variety of initiatives, because we want citizens to see from its example that social facilities can become an adornment to a neighborhood. We hope that passersby who are interested in the festive façade will want to learn more about the problem of homelessness that Nochlezhka is solving,” said Tatyana Zhelanova, director of communications and sustainable development at STONE.

The team of the flower boutique “Gathered in the Garden” supported the initiative of the traditional New Year’s decoration “Nochlezhka” from the developer STONE and made it beautiful and even larger. The façade of the building was ceremonially lit on the evening of December 6. Residents of the rehabilitation shelter, Nochlezhka employees and journalists were invited to the opening.

“There is a world of luxury and success, and there is a world in which people sleep at train stations and heating mains. But in both places people are waiting for the New Year with some hope. And all the more valuable for me is this story with the decoration of the facade, which we came up with together with Nochlezhka. I hope that my team and I were able to create something that the homeless did not expect to see when they went to see a social worker—a real New Year’s fairy tale,” said the founder of the flower boutique “Collected in the Garden” Anton Shuranov.
