The announced new product is a seven-seat hybrid, the total range of which (without recharging and refueling) is 1,150 km.
The Evolute brand was created by the Russian company Motorinvest in 2022; so far only all-electric models have been produced under it. The production of machines is established at the facilities of a plant located in the Lipetsk region. Let us remind you that the “donors” for all Evolutes produced today are models from Dongfeng or other brands associated with the Chinese company.

The current Evolute lineup started with the i-Pro sedan, which is a slightly modernized Dongfeng Aeolus E70. The second model was the i-Joy crossover, based on the Fengon E3 EV/Seres 3 (Fengon is a brand of a joint venture between Dongfeng and Sokon, and Seres belongs to Sokon). The third in the row was the i-Sky SUV, here the role of the “donor” was played by Forthing Thunder (the brand is part of the Dongfeng company portfolio).
Now the manufacturer has announced another new product – the i-Space crossover. Like the rest of the Evolutes, the new SUV of the Russian brand was not created from scratch: it is, of course, “Chinese”; in its homeland it is known as Dongfeng Fengon E5 or Landian E5. Note that Landian is a sub-brand of Seres (we have already mentioned its connection with Dongfeng).
Unlike other completely “green” Evolutes, the i-Space crossover is a hybrid. The power of its power plant is 178 hp, and the maximum torque is 300 Nm. The system includes a traction battery with a capacity of 17.5 kWh, which is powered by a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine. Drive is front-wheel drive only. This SUV takes 7.4 seconds to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h.
The range of the Evolute i-Space with a fully charged battery and a full tank is 1150 km (calculated using the WLTC cycle). According to the company's calculations, fuel consumption is 5.5 liters per 100 km. The crossover's cruising range when driving on electric power alone is 87 km.
The hybrid has a large radiator grille with a pattern of “matrix elements”, all-LED headlights, which are interconnected by a luminous line running across the entire width of the stern. The massive rear lights are also connected to each other using a jumper. The model's interior is designed for seven passengers. The third row of seats can be folded in a 50/50 ratio (in this position it forms a flat floor with a luggage compartment), the second — 40/60. The total volume of cargo space in this case is 2125 liters.

Motorinvest will set up production of Evolute i-Space at its plant in the Lipetsk region. When exactly the new product will appear on the assembly line will become known later. In the future, details about the equipment of the crossover will appear, and the company will also announce recommended retail prices.
Recall that the Evolute line will soon be replenished with the i-Van minivan, which is sold in China under the name Forthing Lingzhi M5EV, as well as the i-Jet SUV, which is based on the Seres SF5.
