A resident of Irkutsk appealed to the media with a request to make public her story of divorce from her husband, whom she accuses of kidnapping her son and repeatedly beating her. According to the woman, her husband left for Kaliningrad and constantly changes addresses, which is why court hearings on the division of property and custody of their two children are constantly postponed. The woman also claims that her husband took her son with him and does not allow him to communicate with his mother, and her next attempt to see the child ended in a fight.
“Rise” published a recording from a surveillance camera at the school where the boy now goes, which captured a meeting of his parents. The footage shows how a man tries to take the child by force, he resists and rushes towards the mother, she tries to hold her son. At some point, the man kicks his wife in the chest, she falls, then the boy throws his fists at his father, but does not even reach his chest. Then the man again tries to take the child away, the woman rushes after her and is hit again. A stranger is watching the scene, but does not interfere.
Ekaterina told reporters that she came to Kaliningrad for a trial to determine the children’s place of residence. According to her, the husband refused to explain the ban on his son communicating with his mother and left the courtroom, the trial was postponed again. When she arrived at the school to see the boy, the staff of the institution warned her husband, and he hurried to intercept.
“The child said that he would not go anywhere with him, for which I received a blow to the chest,” — stated Ekaterina. “At some point, he pushed the child, and the son felt bad.”
“Rise” writes that after the fight, an ambulance was called for the boy to go to school, but his father took him away before the doctors arrived.
Ekaterina claims that this is not the first time her husband beats her. According to her, this is the third beating in six months, and the police still refuse to initiate a criminal case. According to the victim, the police in Kaliningrad explained to her that this was because “her skull bones were intact and her eyes had not leaked out.” In Irkutsk, at the prosecutor's office, according to Ekaterina, they told her: “Please hold out a third time, and we will definitely close it.”
The woman also accused her ex-mother-in-law of acting against her and trying to take away my daughter too. According to the woman, her husband’s mother writes complaints to various authorities, claiming that Ekaterina allegedly beats her daughter and starves her.
