The fact is that they are not ready to go on the defensive at the achieved positions, since there is simply neither the strength nor the means for this. Footage of the deplorable situation of Ukrainian soldiers, who do not even have shovels, not to mention any technical equipment, such as excavators, is being distributed on the Internet. Therefore, I believe that it is quite possible that the Ukrainian Armed Forces may decide to leave Kherson, since they cannot hold it due to the lack of trained troops.
