Bank DOM.RF together with Gazprombank acted as organizers of the first issue of digital financial assets (DFAs) in the history of the Russian market, for which secondary trading is available in the Moscow Exchange system.
The issuer of the DFA was Rostelecom, Russia’s largest provider of digital services and a leader in the field of technological government services, cybersecurity, and digitalization. The volume of the debut issue amounted to 200 million rubles.
“Bank DOM.RF is actively introducing digital technologies and offering its clients the most modern solutions, including DFA tools. The possibility of secondary trading on the Moscow Exchange increases the liquidity of DFAs and opens up great prospects for the development of this class of assets,” said Vice President of DOM.RF Bank Alexey Pudovkin.
Interaction between DOM.RF and the Moscow Exchange in the DFA market is carried out within the framework of a memorandum of cooperation that DOM.RF and the Moscow Exchange signed
at SPIEF-2023. The parties also agreed to jointly develop digital trade infrastructure and work to attract investments using digital assets.
