Restyled Kia Sorento announced in Uzbekistan

According to preliminary data, our neighbors will be offered a large crossover with two gasoline engines to choose from.

Debut market Korea became the home of the updated Kia Sorento, where the SUV launched in August. In November, versions for North America and Europe were introduced. And now a restyled crossover has been announced in Uzbekistan: it is announced that sales will begin “very soon.” At the same time, on the local website you can already find a page for the modernized Sorento — with trim levels and prices.

Restyling brought the model fanged head optics, a different radiator grille and bumpers. In addition, the double vertical rear light clusters are now integrated at the top. A curved display, a new front panel and a climate control unit appeared in the cabin, and the central air deflectors were made horizontal and hidden in a single die.

In Uzbekistan, two gasoline engines are announced for the updated Kia Sorento — a naturally aspirated four 2.5 MPI and a V6 3.5 MPI with a power of 175 and 272 hp. respectively, both are combined with a machine gun. Our neighbors will only have access to the crossover with all-wheel drive.

There are currently four trim levels in the price list: Comfort, Comfort+, Prestige and Prestige+. Moreover, the older V6 engine is used exclusively in the top version. The “base” has LED optics, 18-inch wheels, light and rain sensors, a panoramic roof, climate control, heated steering wheel and front seats, wireless charging for a smartphone, the very same display (tidy screens and multimedia systems, each with a diagonal of 12 .3 inches), rear view camera, cruise control. Starting with the Comfort+ version, air conditioning appears for the third row of seats.

“Prestige” versions have 19 -inch wheels, ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, head-up display, all-round cameras, adaptive cruise, auto braking and lane keeping systems. Well, the Prestige+ offers even more comfortable front seats, a fingerprint authentication system and improved recognition of pedestrians, cyclists and other cars.

Judging by the Kia consumer website, the updated Sorento will cost about 586,900,000 – 724,900,000 soums, which is equivalent to approximately 4,295,000 – 5,305,000 rubles at the current exchange rate.
