The first Russian naval drone will be tested in the Northern Military District zone

As part of the implementation of the state defense order, military industrial holding KMZ has completed the development of the first unmanned drone for the Russian Ministry of Defense. The message about this came from the managing director of the holding, Mikhail Danilenko, who also shared information that the ship will be sent for testing in the special operation zone.

“The first boat without a crew, intended for the Ministry of Defense, has been successfully built and is being sent for testing to the special operations zone,” Danilenko told RIA Novosti. He also clarified that the current working name of this innovative vessel is “BBKN “Dandelion”, the abbreviation of which stands for “High-speed unmanned carrier boat.”

The head of KMZ confirmed that by the end of this year it is planned to build 10 more similar boats, which will also be tested.
