NIZHNY NOVGOROD, December 18 Police officers detained a man who handcuffed his girlfriend and threatened her with a stun gun and an airsoft grenade, reports the press service of the Russian Main Internal Affairs Directorate for the Nizhny Novgorod region.
A message from a 26-year-old woman that she was being held by a man was received by the police on December 17.
“»Police officers who arrived at the scene found that near an apartment building on Marshal Baghramyan Street, during the conflict that arose, a man handcuffed his partner, restricting her actions for more than half an hour. The aggressor accompanied his actions by demonstrating an object that looked like a grenade , as well as a stun gun. The woman was able to get a mobile phone and call the police. The man was quickly detained by the police,» the report says.
It was established that the object with which the attacker threatened his friend was an airsoft grenade. Upon the fact of the incident, police officers are conducting a procedural check, all the circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
