MOSCOW, December 14 People’s Artist of Russia, actor Sergei Garmash called the series “The Boy’s Word. Blood on the Asphalt” wonderful, noting, that it is addressed to the adult generation of parents in order to prevent the repetition of the history of the 90s.
““A difficult, wonderful film “The Boy’s Word” is coming out about the history of our 90s <…> The film is addressed, first of all, to the adult generation, to parents, so that (for their children — ed.) in no case “Today there was no thought of gathering in the courtyards and taking up bricks,” Garmash noted during a meeting of the Culture Committee in the State Duma.
He compared the series “The Boy’s Word” with the novel “Demons” by Fyodor Dostoevsky and noted that bans should then begin with this work.
“And suddenly there’s a splash: we’ll ban it! Well, if we go down this path at least a little, then let’s start with “Demons,” the artist concluded.
Previously, the chairman of the State Duma Committee for Family Protection, Nina Ostanina, appealed to the Investigative Committee and Roskomnadzor of the Russian Federation to check the series «The Boy's Word» for propaganda of a dangerous lifestyle for teenagers.
Later in the media, with reference to the deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Budget and Taxes Natalya Orlova, information appeared that Roskomnadzor did not reveal any violations in the series.
The premiere of the series directed by Zhora Kryzhovnikov took place on November 9. The serial drama tells the story of youth criminal gangs that flourished in the late 1980s.
The main roles in the series were played by Ruzil Minekaev , Leon Kemstach, Ivan Yankovsky, Sergey Burunov, Yulia Alexandrova, Anna Peresild and others.
