777 hypercar: single-seat track monster for 7 million euros made its world premiere

The fabulously expensive Italian supercar turned out to be a little more powerful than was announced at the announcement stage. The 777 hypercar will be produced in just seven units.

777 Motors is the brainchild of Italian entrepreneur, car collector and former racer Andrea Levy. Motors announced its first and so far only model 777 in November last year, a public display of the prototype took place last summer at the company's headquarters located right at the legendary Italian Monza circuit, and last week the world premiere took place at the Yas Marina high-tech circuit in Abu -Dhabi (capital of the UAE), where there is probably the highest concentration of potential customers for 777 Motors.

However, there will be few customers at first, since the planned production run of the 777 hypercar is only seven copies, their shipment is scheduled for 2025, and before that, customers will exercise on simulators and prepare to drive an uncompromising track car. The 777 hypercar is inspired by LMP1 class cars, but is not constrained by competition regulations, thanks to which its performance and speed are taken to the limit. 777 Motors claims that its car laps the Monza circuit in 1 minute 33 seconds, which is faster than all known analogues, including the hybrid Ferrari 499P in racing configuration, its best time in Monza is 1 minute 35.375 seconds.

The 777 hypercar is based on an FIA-approved Dallara carbon fiber monocoque, and the same Italian company will supply key chassis components. The 4.5-liter naturally aspirated V8 running on synthetic fuel is supplied by the British company Gibson Technology: its maximum power is 800 hp. at 9000 rpm (last year the power was stated at 730 hp).

The curb weight of the car is only 900 kg. The aerodynamic tail is capable of generating 2,100 kg of download at a maximum speed of 370 km/h. Lateral overloads can reach 4g.

The cockpit of the 777 hypercar is generously dotted with monitors, which is atypical for cars of this genre, but the decor is spartan in any case, there is no unnecessary decor or unnecessary amenities, everything is extremely functional.

We add that there are more and more projects like the 777 hypercar: for example, the aforementioned Ferrari 499P (which, by the way, won Le Mans this year) is now available in the customer track version of the Modificata for 5.1 million euros. There is also a more “budget” option for $2 million – the New Zealand track supercar Rodin FZero, the aerodynamic tail of which is capable of generating up to 4 tons of download.
