MOSCOW, December 19 Head coach of Krasnodar Vladimir Ivich compared the quality of stadiums in Russia and England.
The Serbian specialist headed the English Watford in 2020.
“”Russia has phenomenal playing conditions, and this is evidenced by the fact that in 2018 the country is at an incredible level The World Cup was held. And the stadiums in Russia are better and more modern than in England. The country attaches great importance to football, it is the number one sport,” the Serbian publication Hot Sport quoted Ivic as saying.
The coach also compared the level of football in Russia and in Israel, where he worked from 2018 to 2020.
“”There is a big difference between these championships. Russian football is much higher quality. They have better teams, players, coaches, everything is at a much higher level than in Israel. Stadiums, sports centers, infrastructure in general – this is a big difference,” he added.
Ivich has headed Krasnodar since January 2023. He also worked for the Greek PAOK and Maccabi Tel Aviv.
