MOSCOW, December 18 The production of robots in Russia is not yet developed as required by the economy, the areas of application have not yet been developed, but they exist, the president said Russia Vladimir Putin.
“Unfortunately, we have not yet developed this as it should, as life requires, as the economy, the material sphere of production requires. Now, if we compare with South Korea, we have there, in my opinion, so as not to lie, we have, in my opinion, ten robots per 10 thousand people, and there for 10 thousand times more, if not more than 20 times more. Therefore, the scope of application, of course, need to be looked for. I will definitely talk with my colleagues about this, with those who are actively working in this direction,” Putin said during a meeting with the winners of the professional skills championship “Professional”.
The President noted that this is due to many areas of work – including delivery, movement, especially interesting and important is the movement of dangerous or harmful goods to humans.
“Scope of application – we simply have not developed them. But they exist. And here, if new devices appear, new mechanisms, new robots with additional broad functions, then, of course, they need to be used. I promise you, we will definitely talk about this with our colleagues,” Putin added.
