Olympic champion in dancing on ice Tatyana Navka is the new hero of the show “In Two Words”.

In a long interview she said:

      < li class="article__list-item">
      What Vladimir Putin would do at the head of the International Olympic Committee;
    • How he feels about the provocative images of Alina Zagitova;
    • What the Ukrainian special services did with her relatives;
    • Why Elena Isinbayeva and Alla Pugacheva are not traitors;
    • How to maintain love in a marriage with the presidential press secretary;
    • What caught her attention in the high-profile interview with Tutberidze;
    • Why you need to watch her new show with the participation of world stars.

“My daughter is more talented than me”
    — When did you first feel a sharp surge of male attention?

    — It’s like this after 17-18 years, when from an ugly duckling you suddenly turn into a white swan. At that moment I began to understand that I liked myself and began to notice the boys’ interest.

    — Have you ever been in the status of an “ugly duckling”? It seems that you have always been a beauty.

“It’s not that I felt ugly, but it seemed to me that there were prettier girls.” I was always cut like Irina Rodnina, it was also called “potty”. I wanted to have long curls. And at school there were such girls, a la Malvina – blondes with huge blue eyes. I had a childish understanding of beauty, but I was sure that everything was ahead of me, that I would blossom, and I was waiting for this moment.

    — Why near Rodnina?

    — It was convenient. I quickly ran to the hairdresser and got everything done. I don’t even know why.

    < br>

    — Was it fashionable, perhaps? Athletes were role models, everyone looked up to them and tried to imitate them. What’s interesting is that you yourself later became one for figure skaters. Every Olympic cycle there is a dancer who reminds you. Not to mention just those who copy style and dresses.

    — When we went to different cities for shows after the Olympics, I saw little kids everywhere. They came to us for master classes. And one girl is sure to wear my dress. Either “Carmen” or “The Pink Panther”.

    — But Alina Zagitova now has the most provocative image. strong>

    — She is one of the first. It opens up and develops. She crossed the 20-year-old line, feeling freedom – from her mother, from her coach. She realized her attractiveness, which audiences and young people like. She becomes so feminine. Moderately sexy.

    — Moderately?

    – I think so. She doesn’t cross the line and remains quite elegant.

    < br>

    — And even a suit a la Instasamka and the recent outfit for The Voice magazine awards? This is me conveying the opinion of a separate part of the public, I do not put any condemnation into my words.

“I think it’s better than her age to wear short skirts and show off her slender legs and waist.” I didn’t see the outfit you’re talking about, but I’m sure everything was within the limits of what was permitted. She breaks these shackles that have been on her all her sports life.

    — Colleague Vlad Zhukov clearly expressed that Alina had been in captivity of authorities for a long time. And now I have escaped from this captivity.

    — Do you mean the coaching staff?

    – Both coaches and parents. Alina nevertheless grew up in a fairly strict family. Some of the installations are from there. As for the coaches, the Tutberidze girls, no matter who you ask, everyone will call Eteri Georgievna a style icon.

    — There is certainly reverence for the coach. And Eteri Georgievna is a young, slender woman. For me, my mother was the prototype of beauty and femininity. For us, every morning began with Vyacheslav Dobrynin’s song “Oh, what a woman.” She couldn’t even go out to throw out trash in a dirty robe or with an unkempt head. That's how she remains. I admire her, how she takes care of herself and looks after herself. Whatever the coach, the girl’s mother is all about understanding beauty, housekeeping, motherhood, family.

—What do you think Kamila Valieva is like? will it be in terms of style in a couple of years?

“Kamila has such fiery power, such inner potential. She hasn't even opened it yet. Her taste, style, energy, sexuality are all right. I even wonder what it will be like. And now we can already see what an incredible short program she has – not at all for a seventeen-year-old. How much charm and feminine understanding there is.

    — But in terms of frankness, is it more Alina than Anya?

    — Well, at the age of 17, Alina had never expressed her emotions like that. Another confirmation that it’s not the coach, but the natural abilities.

    — Do you follow competitions around the world?

    — I saw that Chock/Bates made a new program. I used to follow Papadakis/Cizeron. I watch the World Championships and Olympic Games. I'm watching Ilya Malinin. As for Russian tournaments, I periodically watch with my youngest daughter, trying to get her to win the championship.

    — Is it working out? Or does she already have everything, so it’s harder to motivate?

    – Yes, it works. Of course, the “everything is there” factor influences. But it depends on what you compare it with. Yes, there are conditions – a driver who will pick you up and take you to training, a nanny who will always help. I had an Olympic dream – to stand on the podium in the then Soviet uniform. Blue with white stripes. You stand like Rodnina, crying, and the flag is in the background. And the whole country looks at you and is proud of you.

Nadezhda says: I want to be a champion like my mother. But what she does for this and how she goes about it… A little differently. But she is certainly talented.

    — Evgeni Plushenko said that he had some problems in this sense with his son Sasha – he did not immediately accept the coaching instructions. Therefore, at some point they had to change coaches in order to form a professional approach to the sport. Don't you have this?

    — Nadezhda was very lucky with her coach. Maria Polyakova leads their children's group. She is great at working with young children – they fear her, respect her, and at the same time love her – this is the most important thing. The daughter rushes to training, burning with ice. Compared to me, she lacks the quality to do a little more than you can. I hope this will come with time.

    — Whose character is more in it, yours or Dmitry Peskov?

    – This is an absolute mix. Combined energy. It’s interesting to watch and see our continuation in it. But she is very artistic. She has an innate sense of pose, music, tact. If you compare her nine-year-old with me at this age, then I think she is more talented.

    — Our future is in dancing?

—I would like her to become an Olympic champion in single skating. But time will tell. She will probably genetically be quite tall. Dmitry Sergeevich is not small, and neither am I. With such height it is difficult to do quadruple jumps.

Well, regarding the question that she has everything, everything with me is quite strict and military-style. The eldest also played tennis until she was 15 years old. Sport fosters the understanding that mom and dad won’t do anything for you, won’t agree anywhere. The only thing they can regret is. Sport teaches you to overcome and achieve goals only through your efforts and capabilities. And Nadya understands this better than anyone. Therefore, even in the face of all the possibilities, it develops in her to overcome herself, fatigue, the desire to quit and not go to training.

    — Are there sanctions?

    – Of course, that’s the only way. You won’t watch cartoons, you won’t go to the park with your girlfriend.

    —We won’t buy a new iPhone…

—She has a phone, but he is with the nanny. So Nadya gets it at her disposal in doses. But she doesn’t have time either – she gets up at fifteen minutes to seven, and at nine thirty in the evening she is already in bed. And the whole day is scheduled.

    — Do you teach foreign languages?

    — He teaches English, Chinese. I was so lucky that when she was one year old, my friend, who had lived in China for a long time, came to us. And she recommended a wonderful girl who, like a family member, a nanny friend, lived with us constantly. Therefore, Nadya’s Chinese is quite good.

“Lithuania has deprived itself of the opportunity to be proud of Drobyazko and Vanagas”
    — You are preparing the premiere of the ice show “Evenings on the farm.” How is the process going?

    — I took on a new team this year – both a director and a choreographer. We are adding new types of art – there will be circus acts and animation. I am in love with this story, it will be like nothing else. So that the viewer would be interested in finding out what Navka has prepared next year. Thank you to the Lord for giving me the opportunity, strength and energy to give birth to more and more new ideas. On the topic of the day – Gogol is a great writer. It will be fun, perky, modern. Both children and adults will enjoy it.

    — Who's in the lineup?

    — Starring the wonderful Victoria Sinitsina and Nikita Katsalapov. I'm glad they're on my team. I decently and calmly transferred to them the roles that we always skated with Pyotr Chernyshev.

Also irreplaceable Margarita Drobyazko/Povilas Vanagas. They are somehow different, unlike anyone else. They have harmony and versatility, so they can play roles that no one else could. They are cool.

And, of course, Kamila Valieva after the Russian Championship. Thank God that she was given the opportunity to compete. This “sentence” will be passed next year, but now the child can calmly compete at the Russian Championship. And after that we are waiting for her in Moscow. And Anya Shcherbakova will start – they skate the same role, so they will be interchangeable. Then Anna moves to St. Petersburg and appears there in another of my fairy tales, “Scheherazade.”

    — How do Margarita and Povilas feel? They were detained, of course, in Lithuania. Especially Margarita.

    — This is an unprecedented case. The man defended the colors of his country for many years. And now, because she performs in fairy tales and gives children joy and happiness, this demonstration performance is happening. It seems to me that people should be ashamed of their actions.

In general, Margarita and Povilas lived and worked in Russia for many years. Because in their country there was no opportunity to earn money and feed themselves, roughly speaking.

    strong>— Was Margarita very worried?

    — Of course, I was worried. She posted a very beautiful post on her page on social networks, where she answered all the questions. I can say: don’t worry, Margarita, we’ll break through. As long as you and Povilas skate, you will always perform in my shows. I believe that Lithuania has deprived itself of the opportunity to be proud of such athletes. Now they can’t come to Lithuania and perform there, imagine what a nightmare. But nothing, but Lithuanians can come to us and watch our fairy tales.

    – Povilas endures everything stoically, silent.

    – Well, what should I tell him? The dogs are barking, the caravan is moving on.

—Did they have any thoughts of stopping performing in the show to end this wave?

    – Of course not. They're just doing their job. They have dedicated their whole lives to figure skating, they don’t know anything else. The Lord gives them strength and people's love. Rita says that ordinary people from Lithuania write to her and express support. This makes her happy.

“If the opportunity arises, we’ll go to Mariupol”
    — As for Kamila, she doesn’t show it — it’s difficult understand what's inside her. Do you think she has already let go of this situation with the trial?

“I think it’s impossible to let go of this.” And she will never let it go. Only when she stands on the first step of her pedestal, which will be in her life. From the height of the years lived – after 40, 50, when wisdom comes – then, perhaps, the right attitude will come. I just wish her not to go into all these depressive stories. Life goes on; in addition to sports, there is a lot of interesting things in it. And they don’t let her go into depression – she trains every day. There are goals, competitions, our shows. She is a very strong girl internally. She must carry her energy through all the thorns to the stars.

“She’s probably not to blame for this situation—it’s hard to imagine what her fault could be.” But adults now behave as if they are trying to shield themselves as quickly as possible. Eteri Tutberidze gave an interview to Leonid Slutsky, where she talked about a certain masseuse who treated her to tea – she even mentioned her last name. Doctor Philip Shvetsky gave an interview where he also defends himself.

    — I haven’t seen the doctor’s interview, only Eteri Tutberidze.

    — How would you rate it? ?

    – Well, she said there: let's put everyone on a lie detector test. I think it's a cool statement. Who needed it and why did they bring the girl to such a state? Why was it necessary to allow her to compete at all? As for tea and other things, well, she is also trying to somehow understand and explain the situation to people from different sides. I do not presume to judge, I am beyond this complex problem. I just give moral support to Camila.

    < br>

    — In Lugansk, where you were going to bring the show, at some point it became legally impossible to hold mass events. Maybe it’s worth exploring the option with Mariupol?

    — We already had all the agreements, tickets were purchased. But about a month before the performance, the bombing began. I have a huge responsibility – in addition to the athletes whom I bring and for whom I am responsible, many spectators should have come to us, including many children. I couldn’t take that risk.

We partially got out of the situation. We brought some of the children – those who are involved in figure skating – to Sochi when we performed there in the summer. They watched fairy tales and took part in master classes. Then there was Scheherazade in Moscow – the other part of the children was brought there. For the New Year, we also plan to bring children from there to our fairy tales.

As for Mariupol, this is, of course, a good idea. We are monitoring this. As soon as any opportunity arises, we will immediately go to Mariupol.

    — What is the composition of the artists? How stellar would he be?

    — I think that all the athletes who no longer participate in competitions would come.

    — Then Are there any active athletes who would be lucky?

    — Well, why expose them to unnecessary problems. It would be ugly and unethical. Why, in principle, ask questions to which you will receive a definite answer.

    “Tell your spouse to stop”
    — You are originally from Ukraine. Did your friends stay there?

    — Yes, and a huge number of relatives. I understand your question – how did all this happen. All these services even came to the relatives, asked all sorts of questions, conducted interrogations, and somehow frightened them. They provoked them to give some interviews. It happened like this.

    — With condemnation? Or with renunciation?

    – Well, yes. “Tell your spouse to stop.” As for my friends, in the first months it was a nightmare on their part. I understand them. Moreover, that wave of media with all the information that was presented to them. Someone hasn't spoken directly for a long time. But to be honest, after a year and a half, absolutely all my friends returned. We are talking. There is a completely different perception of the situation.

    — So they live there and now have a different attitude?

    — Yes, they understand, that the situation is completely different from what they saw it a year and a half ago.

    — What has changed?

    — I don’t want to say now, because people still continue to live there. Let me just say that they understand that the one who is at fault is not always to blame. That everything could have been completely different if their leadership had not taken certain steps.

    — That is, they were disappointed?

    — Yes. Someone left the country, saying: I’m going to this country, I don’t want to swear, I’ll never come back again.

    — Did you go to Russia?

    – No. But they come to Russia.

    — Are your friends complaining about something now?

    — I will say this: many left for Europe, their children go to kindergarten there and learn another language. We must pay tribute to the Europeans for accepting them there and helping them. Every cloud has a silver lining. People who, relatively speaking, have never seen anything but the Black Sea, now live practically in a resort, in excellent conditions.

    — It turns out that sometimes human relations still prevail over politics?

    — Yes. Thank God that reason will prevail. I hope when everything is over, we will still go to visit each other. My grandparents are all buried there, my mother can’t even come to their grave.

    — Do you miss Dnepropetrovsk?

    — I left at the age of 14 – an age when my whole life was still ahead of me. My childhood remained there. I remember it all with warmth. My dad is from Gorlovka, Donetsk region – I spent almost every summer there. Now I understand that there is no Gorlovka. But everything remains in memory. The house where I grew up. How I caught crayfish in the river with my dad and uncles. I am happy that I had this childhood.

    — Do you keep in touch with Ukrainian athletes?

    — But I don’t really have any contacts with anyone communicated only with Viktor Petrenko.

    — He now suffers from sanctions from the Ukrainian federation. He was also deprived of his awards there.

“He’s not suffering from anything.” How can you be deprived of an Olympic medal? He became a champion for the united CIS team. He comes to us every year and performs with us. He will travel around Russian cities and will play in the show “Ruslan and Lyudmila” in Sochi. I have known Victor from an early age, when he was already a champion, and I was a little girl. I came to the training camp in Odessa. I remember how all the girls looked at him. I was about 12 years old, and he was 18-20 years old.

“We came to America – and communism began”
    — Do you have the same warm memories with America as with Ukraine? You lived there quite a lot.

“We didn’t leave for America because of a good life. I was 16 years old. Then everyone left – both Moskvina and Tarasova. Natalya Ilyinichna Dubova was also offered. In our country there was no time for sports at all – the dashing nineties. America then greeted us very cordially and sincerely. We were placed in the Olympic Center in Lake Placid. This is how communism began – everything was free. Snickers, Bounty, all these chocolates, ice cream were in unlimited quantities in the dining room. The girls immediately gained several kilograms. The poor partners were chasing us, taking out candy bars from the nightstands. A year later they asked us from there, they said: let’s do something ourselves. Anything happened. We worked, and moonlighted as trainers, and weeded beds, and worked in restaurants.

As for the people, there are the same people globally. A little different mentality. But in general they treated us well.

—What is this difference in mentalities?

—We can shelter, feed, drink, nothing don't ask for it. Understand, cry on your shoulder.

    — But you also lived there as part of a family.

    — In a family, yes. But for this I cleaned and cooked there. And that's not a bad thing. It's just different.

    — In Russia, would you be greeted as a valued guest?

    – Well, not as a dear guest, but I think that a 16-year-old girl who trains from morning to night would hardly be forced by a person… Well, not exactly forced. It was just such an agreement.

    — Did you come late at night and perform a bunch of responsibilities?

    — It was on my day off – I was cleaning and cooking something, for example, borscht. I will say that I am very grateful for this opportunity. But this was not my initiative, but an agreement.

    — Now wouldn’t you like to go there, see how they live?

    — You know, when Trump was elected, my eldest daughter and I asked to be with my husband, one might say – he went there on a business trip to New York. It was a terrible disappointment. Especially my daughter, who left there at the age of 6. We had our own house, we had cars – we lived quite well. When we arrived in Moscow, six-year-old Sashenka kept asking: Mom, why is it so dirty here! We just found ourselves in winter, slush, traffic jams, snow piles.

And now she arrived there at the age of 17 and was in shock. “And this is America?” New York is absolutely dirty, with homeless people and garbage. All this is covered with smog. A feeling of grayness.

    — Wasn’t it like this before?

    — They just don’t develop. They were the same as when I arrived in 1991, and they remain the same. Homeless people have just appeared, all these strange people who live and sleep on the streets and eat right away.

    —Are they rotting?

“That’s where they go.” I think people are not to blame. They are the same as us.

    — Many of those who have lived in America consider them fake.

    — What is false? . Here you meet a person: oh, hi, how are you. Why so sad? What's the problem? In America everyone: Hi, how are you, fine, bye. Superficial communication runs through their friendship. No involvement.

    — Did you make friends with anyone there?

    – No, mostly they were friends with the same Russians who arrived.

    < br>

“He won’t betray Averbukh, but me?”
    — For no one It’s no secret that you played a big role in saving Roman. But the first time he appeared on Averbukh’s show, not on yours. Of course, the main thing is that he came out, that he is alive. But did you have any resentment about this? You also have a show.

“I’m not a person about that at all.” This is probably innate – I never envy, I don’t look at other people’s plates. I'm on my own wavelength, on my own page. I have my own book that I am writing. Yes, Roman decided so, but it is his right. I was even more offended, probably at a different moment. When I went into producing and decided to make my own show, I was the first to tell Roman about it. “Rom, I really want you and I to perform together.”

—And he answered that he didn’t want to betray Averbukh?

    – Yes. To which I replied: wait, what a betrayal. You and I have walked this hard road together. Ilya at some point was our competitor, he has his own life and his own show. And I do not belittle his merits in any way – he is a very talented person. And you don’t need to choose, excuse me, a wife or a mistress. I just need you now, I want to do this with you. To which he refused. I don’t know whether he made this decision himself, or talked to Ilya, but at that moment I was offended. That is, he will not betray him, but me?

    br>
But thank God that there is, was and will be Pyotr Chernyshev. He became not only my partner on the ice, but also to some extent in business. He and I come up with and stage together. Peter and I feel very comfortable on the ice. He is not like Roma, he is very cool in his own way. These flights under the dome of the ice palaces – I would never dare in my life, but this is Petya’s find. He convinced me, persuaded me. At some point I even thought that I wouldn’t succeed.

    — Wasn’t Dmitry Sergeevich against the flight?

    — Nobody asked him. There's no use stopping me. I am an Aries, I am Navka. If I have decided something, there is no need to stand in my way.

Peter also has a very difficult life situation.

    – Yes. And I'm glad that when it works, it clearly switches. The eye lights up, the cheeks turn pink, energy comes to it. It’s fortunate that he has this job – he has the opportunity to switch.

    — You are an accomplished person in life, a champion and a solid figure with a name, and Dmitry Sergeevich also with a name. How to make a marriage between such people strong?

—Yes, it’s very simple. A marriage cannot be made strong if there is no love. There are no secrets. In the presence of love, patience, understanding, and forgiveness appear.

    — Who has a busier schedule?

    — If we take the year as a whole, then, of course, it’s his. I have more of a seasonal job. I can afford to lie down at home, watch a TV series, read a book. He practically does not have such an opportunity. If he goes on a business trip at 5 am, he should already be at work by 11. jpg” />

    — What are you arguing about?

    – About anything. Starting from everyday life and ending with a child, profession. For example, he can criticize my music. It comes to this.

    —Does he offer a Shaman?

—Yes, he also loves the Shaman very much.

    — Do you remember what he criticized?

    — For example, when I was preparing “Swan Lake,” he told me: “I can’t even imagine how you could choose this topic. It will be boring and tedious. All people will fall asleep.”

    — As if the Secretary General had died.

    – Yes exactly. Like, all people have an association with those times when someone dies, and the screensaver with music from “Swan Lake” is on TV all day and night. To which I said: calm down. And then he said that it’s cool, and I’m great. In general, he is proud of me, of course.

    — That is, everything is usually smooth with you. Love each other, global problems will not arise.

    – But why. It happens that someone inadvertently, without meaning to, offends someone. Or even he didn’t want to offend, but I was offended – this can also happen. I am very lucky with my character – I quickly move away. In the morning I wake up with a clean slate and believe that there is no need to waste even time on all these insults and misunderstandings.

    —How do you make peace?

    — No way, I just come up and say: “What happened? What happened? Did I say something wrong? Well, please forgive me, I’m bad.” That's why I say that if there is love, everything will be fine.

br>“Isinbayeva and Pugacheva are not traitors”
    — When the massive persecution of Elena Isinbayeva began against the backdrop of her statements about the nominal rank of major, Dmitry Sergeevich said that he did not see any facts where Isinbayeva betrayed her homeland. How did you feel about this action? A statesman could have said something like “God be his judge,” but he actually interceded.

    – I absolutely support him. A person lived there long before all these stories, she has family there. She will continue to live there – I don’t know how life will turn out, maybe she will return to Russia, if there are reasons for this. Plus she was included in the IOC. It is joy and happiness that there is a person in the IOC who will represent our interests and defend Russia.

    — Elena Vyalbe believes that she will not defend anything there.< br>

—I don’t think so. I don’t know Lena that well, but we crossed paths and talked. I don’t think she will work against Russia.

—Isinbayeva seems to me to be a very sincere person who often speaks with emotions. She could simply have expressed herself poorly. She simply meant that she was not a military person.

    — Yes, that she did not put on a uniform and did not defend her Motherland in military ways, only on sports fronts. Therefore, you need to be proud of her, love and appreciate her. Don't push away those who don't need to be pushed away.

    — Nowadays many people use the word “traitor.” How to distinguish a traitor from a person who does not know what to do correctly in the current situation? Is there anyone you would call a traitor recently?

    — Of course. There are many people who have become traitors, they openly say so. I won’t name names.

    — Are these people from sports?

    — No, I’m speaking in a general human sense. They left and openly criticize their country, which gave them the opportunity to achieve what they became.

    — Is Alla Borisovna Pugacheva in this number?

    — Alla Borisovna Pugacheva went to pick up her husband.

“Depriving an athlete of the Olympics is blasphemy and betrayal”
    — How do you feel about competing at the Olympics in a neutral status? The opinions of the athlete leaders were divided. Some say: an athlete lives a short life, you have to go as you please. Others, there are more and more of them: you must travel only under your own flag, everything else in this situation is betrayal.

—I am very sorry that there are fewer and fewer of those who advocate speaking in a neutral status. The Russian athlete who will stand on the podium during the Olympics is the flag and anthem of our Motherland. Every viewer – not only in our country, but throughout the world – will know that this athlete is from Russia. Our citizens will cry with happiness that this athlete, despite all the difficulties, got the opportunity to show that our country is ahead of the rest.

—What should we answer to people who say: the Northern Military District is coming, we should only go under our flag?

    — If an athlete is not forced to speak out or do something against his homeland, what’s wrong with that? I don't see anything wrong. We have already gone to the Olympic Games without a flag and an anthem. What has changed from this? Happy athletes who dedicate their whole lives to this and give their health to it. It is unknown what they will have in two years, when they only have a chance now. To deprive a person of this opportunity who has been going to it since birth – I consider this blasphemy and betrayal in relation to Russian sports.

    – Even inducing this is a betrayal, it turns out.— Again, I repeat, only if it does not border on the fact that athletes are forced to renounce their homeland.

    — It is unclear what will happen to the representatives of Dynamo and CSKA. 80% of our Olympic sports are Dynamo and CSKA. This is how it happened historically.

    — This is nonsense. If it is beneficial for them, our opponents, to cling to something, then they cling.

Can Thomas Bach be understood in some way?

    — If in his place there was someone like Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin…

    — Then what would happen?

    — He would adhere to the Olympic rules that have existed all my life. During the hostilities, the athletes were not touched, they were not mixed into one mess. Everything would be clearer and stricter.
