The presentation of the “pumped up” SUV will take place in January, and it will be accompanied by a new version of the Accord.
Next month, the Tokyo Auto Salon exhibition dedicated to tuning will open, and Japanese automakers have begun to announce their premieres. Thus, at the Honda stand, one of the main exhibits will be a concept based on the WR-V crossover and a “sportier” version of the Accord sedan. By the way, even in standard guise, these models are not yet sold in Japan: in the brand’s homeland, both cars will launch only in the spring of 2024. Well, let us remind you that under the designation WR-V the Japanese will be offered the Indian Honda Elevate, which is also made in India. But let's return to the new products of the upcoming motor show.

So, the concept SUV was named WR-V Field Explorer. Its features are the original radiator grille with the Honda inscription instead of the usual emblem, additional front lights, black wheels, exterior mirror housings and door trims. There is not a word about the Honda WR-V Field Explorer technology in the brand's release, but it has probably moved from the usual cross-country: in Japan, the model is equipped with an aspirated 1.5 (118 hp) and a CVT, front-wheel drive only.
The company also did not talk about the serial prospects of the show car. It is possible that in the future the WR-V will still have a set of additional equipment inspired by the concept.
Honda Accord Sports Line
But the Honda Accord Sports Line is a sedan with accessories that will definitely be available for purchase. The kit includes a black body kit, a trunk lid spoiler and 19-inch wheels. The Japanese will be offered the new generation four-door exclusively as a hybrid with an e:HEV installation, consisting of an aspirated 2.0 engine that operates on the Atkinson cycle and an electric motor.
