During the period January-December 2023, more than 1,100 families took advantage of the Far Eastern Mortgage, the lending volume amounted to about 6 billion rubles. — this is 1.7 times more than in the same period last year. In total, since the launch of the program in December 2019, about 3 thousand residents of the Far Eastern Federal District have improved their living conditions, the total volume of loans reached almost 14 billion rubles.
Almost every fourth transaction this year was concluded with borrowers under the age of 30. About 44% of loans were issued to families under 35 years of age inclusive. Another 22% of loans went to clients aged 36–50 years, and 9% from 51 years old, mainly doctors, teachers and government employees, as well as participants in the Far Eastern Hectare and Increasing Labor Mobility programs.
“We see structural changes under the program in the transactions of the current year. The share of clients over the age of 36 has increased, this is due to the expansion of the terms of the program in July last year to doctors and teachers with extensive work experience in the Far East,” said Deputy Chairman of the Board of DOM.RF Bank Alexey Kosyakov.
About 70% of those who used the program are married. Of these, 53% currently do not have children, 30% are raising one child, 13.5% have two children, and 3.5% have many children.
Among the leading regions in terms of issuance this year are Primorsky (loans issued for 4.4 billion rubles, an increase of 1.5 times compared to the same period last year) and Khabarovsk Territory (about 750 million rubles, 3.4 times), the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) (300 million rubles, 3.6 times) and the Republic of Buryatia (145 million rubles, 1.4 times), and also Sakhalin region (RUB 112 million, 1.6 times).
