MOSCOW, December 27 Investigators have detained a citizen of Uzbekistan who attacked a policeman at the Salaryevo metro station, according to the Telegram channel of the capital’s central headquarters of the Russian Investigative Committee.
According to the investigation, a citizen of Uzbekistan intended to escape from the police room in the Salaryevo lobby in order to evade administrative responsibility, and “used violence” against a law enforcement officer who tried to stop him.
«»Investigative authorities… are investigating a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (use of violence against representative of the authorities) and Article 228 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation (illegal acquisition, storage, transportation, production, processing of narcotic drugs)… The man was detained in accordance with Article 91 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation, he was charged,” the message says.
As a law enforcement source clarified, the man kicked the policeman three times in the face.
It is noted that in the near future the investigation will petition for his arrest.
